While Hope Place works toward establishing our permanent housing facility, our Winter Warmth Drive provides essential supplies, warmth, and care directly to local neighbors in need.
How You Can Help: Priority Supply List
We are looking for new or freshly laundered items from the below lists.
Cold-Weather Outerwear & Gear
- Heavy blankets, quilts, or sleeping bags
- Coats
- Sweaters and Sweatshirts/ Hoodies
- Waterproof tarps or heavy plastic sheeting
- Thermal knit hats (covering ears)
- Heavy insulated gloves (or layering glove sets)
- Warm scarves and neck gaiters
- Hand and foot warmers (Heat Packs)
Foot Care & Clothing (High-Need Items)
- Thick wool or thermal socks
- Moisture-wicking liner socks (for layering)
- Foot powder and moleskin (for blister protection)
- Moleskin padding and bandages
Cold-Weather Personal Care & Hygiene
- Lip balm with SPF (essential for harsh wind)
- Heavy-duty hand lotion and skin cream
- Travel-sized wet wipes and tissue packs
- Toothbrush sets (with protective covers) and toothpaste
- Mentholated cough drops or hard candies
Shelf-Stable Food & Snacks
- Soft Protein & Energy Bars: Soft-baked oatmeal bars, soft protein bars, soft fig bars, or breakfast bars (please avoid hard, crunchy nut bars)
- Easy-Open Nut Butters: Peanut butter or almond butter squeeze pouches and single-serve cups
- Soft Fruit & Snacks: Applesauce pouches, fruit cups (with pull-tabs), dried fruit, and soft raisins
- Proteins & Ready-to-Eat Items: Single-serve tuna or chicken salad kits (with pull-ring lids) and soft meat sticks
- Warm Comfort Drinks: Hot cocoa packets, instant coffee packs, and herbal tea bags
Donor Tip: Please choose food items with pull-ring tab lids or soft squeeze pouches that do not require a can opener or special utensils!
How Pick-Ups & Drop-Offs Work
